It’s not every day you get paid to travel to France by a customer, but that’s exactly what happened to Craig and Jimmy this month! They were asked to fit Emperor Stone white marble worktops in an apartment in St-Gervais-les-Bains in the South of France.
The customer supplied drawings which were used to cut the worktops to size. They were delivered to the customers address in London where he shipped them to France. The boys then packed their tools and headed to Manchester to catch a flight to Geneva, from there they drove to St-Gervais-les-Bains.
They fitted the worktops, as well as upstands, an end panel and a cradle to support a ceramic sink. This was all done in a day, and they flew back to Manchester the same day. Phew!
